On the morning of January 12, 2026, at Tran Hung Dao Hall – HungHau Campus, the Faculty of Economics and Management successfully organized the Student Scientific Research (SSR) Training Workshop. The event attracted the participation of more than 300 students, demonstrating strong enthusiasm and marking a powerful start to academic activities in the new year.
Scientific research is no longer a distant or dry concept. For students in Economics and Management, scientific research serves as a “golden key” to:
Enhance critical thinking: Enabling students to approach issues from multiple perspectives and with greater depth.
Improve academic performance: Applying theoretical knowledge to practical situations through specific research topics.
Strengthen personal profiles (CVs): Creating a competitive advantage in the future job market.
During the workshop, students were guided on how to observe real market conditions and contemporary economic issues to generate research ideas. Special emphasis was placed on narrowing research topics to align with individual capabilities and time constraints.
One of the most engaging segments focused on methods of data analysis, processing, and presentation. The use of supporting research tools was introduced to help students produce more professional, persuasive, and scientifically valuable studies.
Faculty instructors also shared detailed insights into structuring a scientific research paper, from problem identification to conclusion, helping students gain a solid foundation for writing future graduation theses.
The atmosphere at Tran Hung Dao Hall remained lively throughout the program, highlighted by dynamic discussions. Practical questions regarding data collection challenges and sampling methods were thoroughly addressed by experienced experts.
Beyond providing academic knowledge, the workshop served as a powerful source of inspiration. A key message resonated strongly with participants:
“Scientific research is not far away – it starts with you, today!”
The Student Scientific Research Training Workshop of the Faculty of Economics and Management concluded with great success. This event serves as an important foundation, empowering students to confidently participate in scientific research competitions at all levels and continuously affirm themselves on their academic journey.
