Dr.Ngo Tan Hiep, Head of the Economic Division at the Economic Management Faculty - Van Hien University, has worked with his research team to explore a pressing issue: the connection between e-commerce and global digital transformation. In the context of rapid technological advancement, e-commerce services have not only become popular but have also attracted a large number of participants. Digital technology platforms have opened up opportunities for the exchange and online trading of goods and services on a global scale.

However, alongside this growth, tax authorities are facing a significant challenge: managing tax revenues from e-commerce. Payments made through digital technology systems complicate the identification and management of taxes more than ever. The research team has conducted an in-depth study to find solutions to this issue, aiming to identify buyers and sellers of goods and services that are paid for online. They have applied transaction tools and digitized systems to create effective databases to support tax management and the identification of tax codes for various goods and services on e-commerce platforms.

This is the time for government agencies, businesses, and society as a whole to take action, leveraging the findings of this research to optimize tax management in the digital age. Such collaboration will not only enhance transparency but also facilitate the sustainable development of e-commerce in the future.
