It can be said that internships are an important step for students to orient themselves and develop their careers after graduation.
To bridge the gap between theory and practice with the educational philosophy of 'Learning by doing,' the undergraduate programs of the Faculty of Economics and Management at Van Hien University are designed to include an Internship course. This is a mandatory course aimed at providing students with the opportunity to gain real work experience in companies, enhancing and perfecting their soft skills and future career opportunities.

Alongside classroom learning, internships and practical experiences at companies play a crucial role for students. From the first year, the Faculty of Economics and Management organizes company visits and experiences for students to gain a comprehensive view of the work and the field they are studying, helping them prepare mentally and set goals, as well as develop awareness of their studies and future career paths.
Master Dang Thanh Luan stated: 'The course on Industry Experience in Logistics is a training module conducted at production facilities/businesses/logistics companies in the field of Logistics and Supply Chain Management under the guidance of staff from the internship unit and faculty members from the Faculty of Economics and Management. This course allows first-year students to explore and familiarize themselves with the actual working environment related to management, design, production, and operational technology in Logistics and Supply Chain Management. After visiting companies, students gain knowledge about the organizational structure, operational methods, and working regulations of production facilities and logistics businesses. They also learn to carry out some simple professional tasks related to the supply chain management process at the internship unit. In terms of skills, students understand planning skills; report writing and presentation skills; and the ability to perform professional tasks responsibly under the guidance of instructors. They also develop teamwork and communication skills, as well as learn how to organize work, manage time, and utilize resources effectively with the assistance of their instructors. Regarding attitude, students build a sense of proactivity and responsibility during their practical experience at the company.

On October 9, 2024, first-year students majoring in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from the Faculty of Economics and Management at Van Hien University participated in a valuable career experience activity at Viet Thien Manufacturing Trading Service Co., Ltd.
Viet Thien Company was established in 2008 with the brand name Viet Thien Tea, a specialty of Bao Loc, providing customers with delicious and clean tea for the health of the community. ZeMor Coffee is a coffee brand under Viet Thien Company, which owns clean raw material areas in Lam Dong, producing the highest quality coffee products, with an export volume of over 60,000 tons per year. In addition, the business owns a factory equipped with modern machinery that meets food safety standards. It always delivers the highest quality products. The distribution system consists of over 5,000 sales points nationwide.
