Students majoring in Marketing and Logistics & Supply Chain Management from the Faculty of Economics and Administration at Van Hien University embarked on an insightful field trip to Lotus Port. This activity is part of the “From Theory to Practice” series initiated by the Faculty, designed to create opportunities for learners to apply classroom knowledge in a real-world professional environment.

At the port, students directly observed the integrated operational processes, from vessel reception, container handling (loading and unloading), and cargo storage to freight forwarding and delivery.
Marketing students had the opportunity to learn how a seaport enterprise develops strategies to attract clients and expand its service market.

Logistics & Supply Chain Management students enhanced their practical knowledge of coordination, berth planning and operations, and solutions for optimizing time and cost within logistics activities.

More than just a tour, this was an occasion for VHUers to reinforce their academic foundations, broaden their perspectives, and build confidence, thereby preparing them for professional integration and future career success.
